THE LOOM Cashmere Showroom is a display space for original cashmere apparel. Inspired by the mechanics of a running loom, the design aims to promote the brand while using spatial narrative to reinforce its core momentum.
The space takes "The Evolution of Cashmere Weaving" as its central narrative, engaging in an immersive dialogue between industry and nature. Running textile machinery marks the narrative starting point, immediately unleashing the brand's dynamic energy. Overhead, diamond-shaped aluminum tubes stretch across the ceiling like an expanding network of yarn, transforming traditional weaving techniques into an artistic architectural translation.
Material choices highlight this contrast: vast surfaces of cool stainless steel collide with warm, delicate cashmere, allowing the garments themselves to shape the physical texture of the space. As the narrative reaches its climax, a "house-within-a-house" pavilion and a multifunctional stage create a sense of private ritual and fashion tension within a grand scale. Meanwhile, scattered disc displays serve as micro-touchpoints, guiding visitors' tactile experience and completing a seamless story—from "mechanical creation" to "warmth and touch."
